Saturday, August 14: The Anniversary Boat Cruise Gala is on aboard the Beauport Princess out of Cruiseport Gloucester.
Monday, Sept. 13: The golf tournament is on for 10 AM–NOT noon–at Beverly Golf & Tennis.
$175 per player – 10am tee off. Continental breakfast at the course, surf and turf dinner back at the Legion after.
Thursday, September 16: Next dinner if the Board of Health clears the Legion to resume holding dinner functions by that time.
The Anniversary Cruise
The Club’s highly anticipated Anniversary Gala Boat Cruise is set to happen on Saturday evening, August 14 aboard the Beauport Princess out of Cruiseport Gloucester.
Invitations are going out by email on June 7. If you don’t get an email notification or a printed invite please send us an email note at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tickets will be available for members first–any extras will be made available once the number members/spouses attending is determined.
All indicators are pointing to full capacity for the boat–200 people.
Tickets will cost $60 per person and includes a full bar and this awesome menu:
- Tenderloin/Baked Haddock
- Hors D’oeuvres (5)
- Raw Bar
- Cheese Bar
- Full Bar set up (not just wine and beer)

Dick Lysiak Golf Tournament
The Richard J. Lysiak Memorial Golf Tournament is set to be held on Monday, September 13 at a new venue, the Beverly Golf & Tennis Club – with a 10am shotgun start. Please note the change in start time! The cost is $175 per player and includes a continental breakfast at the golf course and a surf & turf dinner at the awards banquet that will be held at the Legion Hall immediately following the golf.
First Dinner in a long time! September 16
Lastly, the first dinner meeting in a long time will be held on Thursday, September 16 at the Legion Hall–if the Board of Health clears the Legion to resume holding dinner functions by that time. Manchester Club members and their guests can expect a delicious dinner served up by the membership and a lively discussion for club plans moving forward from the pandemic. Invitations will be emailed in August.
As high school graduation commencements approach, the Club will be awarding 5 college scholarships of at least $500 each. Applications may be found on this website– themanchesterclub.org –under “Club Forms/Applications”. Nine applications have been received to date and all applicants will be considered!
We’ll be doing last year’s last year’s raffle at the October dinner. We’ll then hold the customary raffle in May of 2022.
Raffle tickets along with dues invoices will be mailed out in the early summer.
We’ll be trying to update the email lists from last year’s membership drive. We know that some members continue to report not receiving club emails. If you read this and you haven’t gotten an email from us, please send your email address to < email@example.com >
