Upcoming Events!

Manchester Club Dinner: Thursday, November 18th:

The next Manchester Club dinner/meeting will be held on Thursday, November 18 at the Legion Hall.  Ken Davis and kitchen crew will be serving up his popular Portuguese Pot Roast dinner and the Manchester Club’s annual scholarship raffle, that we pushed back from last May, will be held.

Please Register For The Dinner Here!

As a reminder, members may either bring their completed raffle tickets that went out with the dues letters in September or they may pay the cost of the tickets – $40 as an add on to their dues for next year.  Remember the old saying, “You can’t win if you don’t play!” so please get your raffle tickets to us by Thursday evening to avoid the surcharge next year.

Lastly, as a reminder, masks are required to enter the Legion Hall.  We hope to see you on the 18th!

Masks will be required to enter the building according to board of health protocol. The E-board is optimistic to be able to host a full house this evening but are watching for updates from the town and will keep you posted as any new restrictions are introduced due to the resurgence of the pandemic.
As is the custom, cocktail hour will begin at 6pm with dinner served promptly at 7pm. We hope to see you there!

Dick Lysiak Golf Tournament

The Richard J. Lysiak Memorial Golf Tournament was an Amazing Success!

After a night of heavy, pouring rain, it was nothing but blue skies for the 18 groups who showed up to tackle the Beverly Golf & Tennis Club for the annual Richard J. Lysiak Memorial Golf Tournament.  Thank you to all of the players, including the sandbaggers, as the course needed their sand!!

Special recognition goes out to all sponsors and local businesses that donated gift certificates as prizes:

First of all, as always, a huge thank you to Rob Mirak of Mirak Chevrolet & Hyundai for providing the hole-in-one car.  Sadly, only one player even hit the green on this par 3 hole.  Better luck next year!

Corporate Sponsors:  Bank Gloucester, Danvers Industrial Packaging Corp, L.A.D. Construction, Landesign, Lombardi & Son Masonry and Renco Gloves.

Hole Sponsors:  Lipkowitz Dentistry, Allan’s Pharmacy, Filias Construction, Gibson Sotheby’s, Jonathan Silva Winning Solutions, Cape Ann Savings Bank, L.A.D. Construction, Make It Go Away, Manchester Barber Shop, Manchester Electric, Molisse Realty, Pallazola Brothers Landscaping, Richdales, Stanley’s Garage, Stasiak Painters, Thompson Auto Body, Utopia Farm, and The Willwerth Family.

Gift card prize donors:  Allies Beach Street Café, Manchester by-the-Book, Beverly Golf & Tennis Club, Essex River Cruises, Sun’n Air Golf Center, C.K. Pearl’s, and Cape Ann Golf Club.

We’ll be doing last year’s last year’s raffle at the October dinner.  We’ll then hold the customary raffle in May of 2022.

Raffle tickets along with dues invoices will be mailed out in the early summer.

We’ll be trying to update the email lists from last year’s membership drive. We know that some members continue to report not receiving club emails. If you read this and you haven’t gotten an email from us, please send your email address to < therealmanchesterclub@gmail.com >
