The Manchester Club has provided a meeting place for men in and around the North Shore Community since 1905. In a time of many forces that spin us off into other activities, the Club brings us together as a community. The simple purpose of the membership is to socialize, share a meal and discuss important issues of concern and interest to our beloved community.
Meetings
Meetings are held every third Thursday of each month from September to June at the Amaral-Bailey Post of the American Legion in Manchester by the Sea, MA located on the harbor in back of Manchester’s Town Hall. There is a social hour beginning at 6PM followed by dinner prepared by teams of members in the kitchen of the Legion Hall.
A short presentation usually follows with an opportunity to ask questions. Past speakers have included the District Attorney of Essex County, a member of Manchester’s Board of Selectman who is also the new owner of the 7 Central Restaurant and the President of the Essex Shipbuilding Museum.
Governance
The Manchester Club has a board and an Executive Committee.
